Outsourcing our cleaning contract for Marshall House in Preston, a busy, multi tenanted 9 storey commercial town centre building was a big decision. It was imperative that the standards would be kept high and that we had a fully responsive and flexible cleaning team in place. As the commercial sector is one of their specialisms, Rosemary Glen Ltd totally understood our requirements and from the offset were always flexible in meeting our needs, which can sometimes be very demanding! With service charge paying tenants, cleaning standards are very important to us. From day one, when Graham, Yvonne and their team took over, they initiated, at no extra cost, a massive deep clean of all communal areas, kitchens, and toilets. They retrained cleaning operatives who had transferred smoothly via tupe to their organisation and whom to this day, still tell me it was ‘the best thing for them’ and they are ‘supported both in their work capacities and personal lives like in a family’ with supportive supervisors visiting sits regularly who keep me updated on all relevant information regarding the buildings and any works that need attending to like blocked toilets and drains; leaking taps; faulty bulbs etc. Having worked with Rosemary Glen for a number of months, when a contract was due for tender at another site in St Helen’s, I was quick to contact them, although I was not sure if they covered the area , being a Preston based head office. They did, and were of course, successful in securing that building too, again a multi tenanted town centre building with heavy footfall and of 8 storeys. I would also like to take this opportunity to also thank Rosemary Glen for coming to our rescue at relatively short notice on several occasions. For example, when we had a severe weekend water leak covering a number of floors in a building requiring wet vacs / mop and a number of operatives very quickly; and another time when we had unfortunately lost a salaried cleaner out at Knott End and only a few days ago, due to Covid positive tests, for arranging very swift Fogging Sanitisation (within 6 hours of notification at St Helen’s)…which involved bringing their equipment down from New Castle! I’d have no hesitation in recommending Rosemary Glen Limited, they literally are ‘a breath of fresh air’.
